The heating system is one of the key elements of a residential building’s engineering infrastructure. It determines not only the temperature inside the apartment, but also how hot water is supplied and how everyday life is organized. Astrid Residential Complex will feature an individual gas heating system, allowing residents to regulate the temperature in their apartments independently.

Each apartment will be equipped with a combi gas boiler. It will provide both heating and hot water. Residents will be able to adjust the temperature themselves according to the weather and their individual routines, without being tied to a centralized heating season. This approach is particularly relevant during the transitional seasons, when outdoor temperatures can change significantly throughout the day.

The building will be connected to the gas supply network, and each apartment will have a gas stove. This allows natural gas to be used for the main household needs — heating, hot water supply, and cooking.

Apartments at Astrid will be handed over with a White Box finish. This is a prepared base for renovation, with the main works already completed and the necessary engineering solutions in place. Owners will not need to start with basic preparation of the premises — once they receive their apartment, they can move on to implementing their own interior design project.

Particular attention in the project is given to air exchange. Each apartment will be equipped with a Blauberg heat recovery ventilation system, providing a supply of fresh air and removing extract air. During this process, the system recovers part of the heat, helping to reduce heat loss.

Heat recovery ventilation is particularly relevant for modern homes with airtight windows: maintaining good indoor air quality does not require constantly opening windows for ventilation. The controlled air exchange system operates independently of the heating system and helps maintain stable indoor conditions.

Thus, the engineering solutions at Astrid have been considered from the earliest stages of the building’s design. The individual heating system allows residents to control the temperature and hot water, the gas supply provides a familiar cooking setup, while the heat recovery ventilation system ensures continuous air exchange. Combined with the White Box finish, these solutions create a well-prepared technical foundation for a future apartment.
